Lifemark Labs bento box - take your snacks and lunch on the go! [giveaway]

I don't have kids yet, but I still have lunch at work every day. And sometimes I have leftovers to bring, and bringing multiple containers for stuff can be a pain.

Lifemark Labs has a simple solution - their bento lunch box. They encourage you to eat healthier and simpler or they'll send your money back if you're unsatisfied! The bento box is made from high quality 100% food grade BPA-free plastic. It's also dishwasher-, microwave-, and freezer-safe.

I recently had the pleasure of getting my hands on the one in green and I dig it. What's cool is the box is completely leak-proof, even between the three compartments. There's no spillover, and you can even put a liquid in the compartment without worry. I'm not sure why you'd put a liquid in there, but the seal is tight. There are four big hinges around the edges to ensure it's locked down.

Looks can be deceiving too. While the lunch box may appear compact without a lot of room, it actually holds quite a bit of food. I like big helpings, and I can fit more than I ever expected in the box. I like to dump in a bunch of fried rice (one of my favorite dishes) in all the compartments. Heating up and cleaning is a breeze.

The box is a little less than two inches deep, and as you'll see in one of the images, it's perfect for storing sushi. Oh, and a word to the wise - sushi should be stored at room temperature, so don't stick it in the fridge. As for heating up the food, be sure to take off the lid before microwaving. Leaving the lid on may damage the silicone seal, which is essential for keeping the bento box leak-proof.

The box is available in four colors. Perhaps you'll want to give your kids their own color, or you and your spouse can have your own. Which one do you like?
  • Blue
  • Green
  • Orange
  • Purple

So who wants one of these?! The folks at Lifemark Labs have been gracious enough to offer up a bento lunch box in the color of your choice to one lucky Giveaway Guy reader.

  4. I just LOVE Bento boxes. I have a number of ones I picked up at a Japanese market my daughters and I frequent. The ones I have are old, though, and after years of use, getting worn out. I'd love one of these in blue.
