Lined mittens from Rhododendron Ranch [review]

We had a mild December here in New England (nearly 70 on Christmas!), but it's getting pretty cold now. Been in the 20s the past couple days. Time to bust out the hat & gloves.

But instead of gloves, how about mittens?

Gloves allow for more mobility, but are prone to losing body heat faster than mittens. Mittens have better insulation with a pocket of warmth over the four fingers and a separate space for the thumb.

The Rhododendron Ranch Etsy shop has a nice selection of soft, knit mittens in a variety of colors. Thanks to Meg's handiwork, your hands will never be cold again!

My wife modeling some Rhododendron Ranch mittens.

These classic knit mittens are great for anyone, for both work and play. Meg makes sizes for adults and children. The mittens also have a generous ribbed cuff, which you can see in the photo above. You know the gap you sometimes get between your gloves and the end of your jacket sleeve? The cuff solves that problem.

Lined with black fleece.

As you can see, the mittens are lined with blizzard fleece for extra warmth. It's like sliding your hand into a cozy blanket.

Below are more colors to choose from. Check out the Etsy shop for more details. And there are many opportunities to coordinate items to make a set made from the same color and brand of yarn. If you don't see the color or size you want, just ask Meg!

Rhododendron Ranch has a code GIVEAWAYGUY for free shipping to domestic addresses via the shop, expiring 3/31/16. Take advantage of a great deal and see what's available.
