Amazon gift card & Summer Lane's Bravo: Apocalypse Mission

If you're in need of a book for summer reading, how 'bout one written by Summer Lane? How fitting a name is that?

Summer Lane is the #1 bestselling author of 12 thrilling books, including the phenomenal bestselling Collapse Series, Zero Trilogy and Collapse: The Illustrated Guide. Her newest series, The Bravo Saga, released April 22nd, 2016, and was hotly anticipated by the reading community, becoming a bestseller instantly.

Bravo: Apocalypse Mission is the first installment of the Bravo Saga, available in paperback and Kindle on Amazon. It follows the story of a military working dog named Bravo who is separated from his beloved handler when the apocalypse strikes. It is a poignant and thrilling tale of love, loyalty and survival.

Still curious about Bravo: Apocalypse Mission? Time for an interview with Summer...

What inspired you to write Bravo: Apocalypse Mission?
Dogs! I’m serious. I love big, protective, loyal dogs. I was inspired by the selfless loyalty of working dogs and figured: why not write about it? Bravo’s story is one of adventure, love and sacrifice, and writing it was a total joy.

How long does it take you write a book, on average?
It depends on the length of the book and whether or not I have a quickly-approaching deadline! For the most part, I can write a full-length novel in about 2-3 months. If I have more time, it will take me about 6 months.

What’s next for you, now that Bravo has finally released?
This year, I have two more releases: State of Fear in June and Bravo: Blood Road in October. I’m getting married this fall and honeymooning in Hawaii, so that will be a nice break from the apocalypse.

Who is your favorite character in each of your series: Collapse, Zero and Bravo?
My favorite character in The Collapse Series is Uriah True. I love his brooding nature and aura of mystery. My favorite character in The Zero Trilogy is Bravo! I loved him so much that I wrote a book just about him – if that’s not love, I don’t know what is. My favorite character in Bravo: Apocalypse Mission is India. (When you read the book, you may be surprised at my choice, but I have big plans for India!)

So who wants to win something?! Summer Lane and I have partnered up to give away a couple items - one lucky Giveaway Guy reader will win a paperback copy of Bravo: Apocalypse Mission and another reader will win a $20 Amazon gift card.
