Natural soaps from Piping Hot Suds [giveaway]
Piping Hot Suds is an Etsy shop run by Alice in Michigan, a journey into the handmade deodorant and soap arena that began many years ago when Alice first read about the risks of aluminum in antiperspirants.
She uses the cold process method using natural ingredients when making the soaps. Rather than fragrance oils, which is very popular for handmade soap, Piping Hot Suds uses essential oils in her bars because the oils provide aromatherapy and are natural. Fragrance oils are chemically produced.
Pictured above is the Jazz It Up soap, which includes the jazzy aromas of lemongrass, sage, and jasmine essential oils. It's a great combination for in the bathroom, or kitchen.
Even though Alice uses sodium hydroxide, all the lye has been removed when it saponifies with the oils/butter. She's tested each batch of soap to ensure it's pH-balanced.
And then we have the Garden soap, an awesome bar of soap made with all natural ingredients, as well as lavender and eucalyptus essential oils.
Did you know lavender has many health benefits? Some of the notables include the ability to eliminate nervous tension, nurture the skin, and treat respiratory problems. The Latin name of lavender is Lavare, which means “to wash," due to the clean aroma.
You can get the most out of your soap by placing it on a dish that drains well. The soap will disintegrate if it sits in any water! You need air flow to keep it fresh.
So who wants some soap?! Piping Hot Suds is graciously offering two (2) bars - one Jazz It Up soap and one Garden soap - to a lucky Giveaway Guy reader.
