Amazon gift card and Christian author J.E. Grace

Next up is an author who's been writing since she was very young, with a vivid imagination and inspired by nature.

J.E. Grace has enjoyed writing since an early age and continues to educate herself in the craft. She writes in the genres of science fiction and Christian mystery/romance.

A Walk with Heavenly Spirits is about a young woman who has fallen away from her walk with God and is visited by Heavenly Spirits that remind her that the Lord hasn’t abandoned her. It tells of her journey back to God and how her life is dramatically changed. It’s a work of inspiration, enveloped in promises from God’s word.

Allison Stevens became a Christian at a young age. Then she makes a wrong decision that takes her on a collision course of disappointment and heartache. God loves her and wants her back, but Satan wants to keep her in a life of despair and lies.

Heavenly Spirits are sent by God to instruct and remind Allison of God’s promises. Can she walk the path God intended for her and find the joy that’s missing in her life?

A family she didn’t know she had, a man grieving his personal loss, and a felon who wants her dead makes her life more complicated than ever. Can she find happiness outside of the chaos?

On the way back to God, she discovers that there are still struggles, but now she knows she isn’t alone. God is with her. Can she stay strong and ward off the lies of the devil?

Curious to know more about A Walk with Heavenly Spirits and the author? Time for an interview with J.E...

What inspires you to write?
I have been writing ever since I was very young. A vivid imagination, mystery/fantasy books I read as a child, and movies have all contributed to my desire to write. I get inspired daily by nature, encouraging web posts I may have read, but deep down it’s the knowledge that I feel I was born to write. It’s a gift from God and all my books are God inspired. My wish is that they touch someone in a positive way and draw them to the Lord.

How long does it take you to write a book, on average?
That depends a lot on the size of the manuscript and how well my characters cooperate. Sometimes I just have to kick back and wait for the characters to lead me. My average time is around six months. Although, my current novel that I’m editing now, I wrote in 80 days.

What are you working on right now?
I am finishing up the editing on a Christian Mystery/Romance novel titled, “Redemption at Shadow Lake” which I hope to have published in April. I have another two novels in the works. The first one, is book three of my Pacific Cove Series titled, “Love’s Enduring Legacy” and another mystery/romance novel.

What's the best writing tip you can offer?
The best advice I could give is to write what you know. Write for yourself, not in a certain genre because that’s what you think the readers want. Be true to yourself. Read novels in the genre you want to write in.

What's a book written by another author everyone should read in their lifetime?
For me, it was the first book in the Left Behind series. That led me to reading the entire series which was mesmerizing and I couldn’t put them down. Whether you are a believer or not, the novels are so well written and has so much edge of your seat action that you can’t come away without it affecting you. The novels made me delve deeper into my Bible, wanting to check for authenticity, which drew me into a deeper relationship with God.
