Light your fire with the ElectroLight [giveaway]

If you followed my blog last summer you might remember I partnered with HomeRight to promote their fire starter.

Well, we're back again! Summer is great for campfires and grilling. You may already know about HomeRight - DIY projects are their focus. Their products and tools help make your project easier, faster, and neater.

HomeRight's ElectroLight Fire Starter is an easy way to light your campfire or grill. The ElectroLight allows you to easily light things in just 2-3 minutes like your grill, charcoal barbecue, wood burning fireplace, and fire pit.

I had never seen anything like this fire starter until a year ago when I saw it on the HomeRight website. The starter uses super high 1,300°F temperature air to ignite and then fan the flames with a built-in blower. Be careful with this thing and definitely don't let kids get their hands on it.

Also, no need for lighter fluid or other starter chemicals. The red trigger button has a built-in safety feature, and it must stay depressed to hold temperature. Check out how easy it is to light charcoal:

  1. Touch the tip of the barrel to the charcoal or wood. At 1300 Degree you have more than two times the temperature required to ignite wood.
  2. Once you start seeing embers, while leaving the button depressed, pull the tip slightly away. The blower will continue to fan the flame.
  3. Continue until you get the desired level of fire started.

Some notable features:
  • Durable polycarbonate handle, aluminum cooling shroud, steel cased heating element and cooling stand
  • Intermittent power switch controls heating element and blower
  • 10' heavy gauge grounded power cord
  • Durable heating element, motor and switch to last for hundreds of lights

So who wants a fire starter?!

The folks at HomeRight have been gracious enough to offer a ElectroLight fire starter to one lucky Giveaway Guy reader.
